@Tim_Denning What these kinds of employers are really saying is they don't want you to have a social media following because it gives you opportunity and leverage. They want to be your only option because it gives them complete power over you.

Worrying about your public social media for a job that can fire you in an hour is stupid. There is no more job security. Instead of being loyal and following the rules like a pleb, do whatever you want and be loyal to yourself. If an employer cares about a few harmless selfies, they're not worth working for. Your free speech will be stolen from you if you're not careful.

@JacobHEvans Most of your competition will drop out in the first few days or weeks at most. Once they find out it takes real effort most people go running for the hills.

There is too much competition on X. 50% won’t start because there's “too much competition” 9% will quit just before things get good 40% will quit after one week 1% start, iterate, repeat, and win.

Most people are trying to find ways to get more motivation. The problem is motivation doesn't last. It's a feeling that comes and goes. What will keep you consistent when that feeling fades is strong systems and momentum. Instead of constantly trying to find new ways to get motivated you need to focus on creating systems that remove friction and make doing the work seem like an easy choice. Once you do that doing the work becomes easy and the results will follow.

@nickrgrs Simplicity is much more effective then complexity when it comes to selling a product. Customers just want to know what something is and not have to do research and guesswork.

The key to creating a successful business is to stay consistent even when you aren't getting any results yet. Most people don't realize you can't just post once and achieve all of your goals. It's about showing up daily regardless of results until your efforts eventually compound into success.

@siddharthwv It only seems unreal to most people because they don't see other people they know in real life doing it. But once you find out how many people are it becomes extremely achievable with hard work and effort.

Every day I saw people online living the life I wanted and assumed it was fake. An online business, working 4-6 hours a day, time freedom, location freedom, making 5x your salary, saying no to bad clients. 1.5 years of focused effort later... Now I'm living the "fake" life.

@iliazolotukhin X is definitely a bubble. I see opinions on here that seem like they are the norm but IRL nobody even knows about them. X is a great platform but don't forget the algorithm can also make it a giant echo chamber.

X is a huge bubble guys. Most of your potential clients don’t give a fuck about AI. They just need revenue to the company and good person to work with.
