The worst advice a person ever gave me was to read a book just to complete it. Because my subconscious would “collect” the ideas. This may be true. However, it neglects the fact that this way of thinking leads to compounding stagnant ideas. Stop reading a book to finish it. Start reading a book to think about it. No one said you had to finish it.
