But whether you like it or not, physical media is dying. Sony and Microsoft have digital only consoles. Soon you may not have a choice to get physical games

Most annoying people on the internet right now are people crying over game key cards. They aren’t going anywhere and in fact we are heading more and more to an all digital gaming future. Just get used to it.

@homerjahsimpson I mean it should strive to be as fun as possible. And when I say fun, I don't mean that the game lets you win every time or has nonstop action.
I mean the game gives you a reason to play it multiple times. Also it needs to be understood that not all genres are for everyone.

there are many games that try to produce elements that are traditionally "unfun" to say something that can only be done through the lens of interactivity. it is a very childish view to think a video game MUST be fun 24/7

correct but people use "fun" and "engaging" interchangeably. a game can be not fun but it should be engaging considering you have to interact with it

"fun" being a requirement for games is what keeps this medium from being taken seriously you're going to tell me Requiem for a Dream, The Downward Spiral, Blood Meridian, Guernica, etc, are "fun"? masterpieces have to be interesting, not necessarily "fun"

@Merrydawg Spoilers, basically. I'd even be ok paying a small amount to watch this episode directly on Youtube.
Also I recently noticed that it's gonna show episode 8 again just to fill in the screentime. So the first 40 minutes will be ads and an episode you've seen for free already.

Why are people upset at this, again?
They released every single episode for free on YouTube. They could have signed an exclusivity deal with a streaming platform, and forced you to pay $14.99 a month to watch, but they never did.
You guys can't let them at least have ONE monetized early release for their finale? It has to release FOR FREE immediately?
If you love animation, you should WANT them to do this, so they and future creatives like them, can be rewarded for their hard work.

I swear adult animation fans act like absolute children sometimes. Either shell out the cash to watch your favorite show’s series finale or wait two weeks like a good little boy. But don’t expect artists to work for free in perpetuity.

Hell, the playtest game can't even be played offline. It's centered around working and interacting with dozens of actual ppl.

Ralsei is a darkner. A character who isn't "real", which is why Toby is ok with some of those characters getting plushies.
