@EYakoby I doubt that. Genuine anti-regime demo, yes, by US Embassy in London, yes. The other stuff you said? Probably not so much. We'd all like to see the mullahs kicked out, but Trump randomly bombing Iran moves that goal further away, if anything. He is helping entrench the regime.

Couple of interesting council by-election results yesterday.
Tories gained one from Reform and the other saw a decent Reform ➡️ Tory swing.
Greens also took a seat off Reform last week.
They’ll make major gains on May 7, but Reform are finding out that incumbency brings its own challenges.

Is that it? Georgia only has about 11 million people. Are you sure it has more prisoners than the whole UK??

If the UK joined the US as the 51st state.
We would be the poorest state in the entire union.
Mississippi which is portrayed at swamp dwelling hillbillies in majority of international media is above us.
I don’t think people grasp how far we’ve fallen in real terms when it comes to GDP per capita.
We’ve seen no growth for almost an entire generations.
We’ve seen our productivity decrease and our tax increases.
The average person on the UK, on £50,000 is less well off than your average Mississippi swamp dweller.
