Honestly, the question is worded poorly when in reality
the Blue button does nothing and the Red button just kills everyone who voted Blue.
There is absolutely no good reason to vote Red and this is why Blue wins.

I do know what murder means, it means to unlawfully and unjustifiably kill someone.
Not risking your own life for someone else is never murder, even in real world cases where you obviously should. ie, you see a baby in a burning building that you are reasonably sure you can get to and get out. I would and think you should, but still not actually murder if you don't.
Certainly not murder in the case that the person in the building is an abled body adult who can simply walk out.

But the only people dying chose to. You still have not addressed my concession if the question was complicated by x amount of forced blue votes. Then empathy plays in because those people would be condemmed to death.
Forget this scenario for a second. There is an abled body standing on a bridge. They have no limitations and ca move freely. The bridge is going to collapse in 30 seconds. It would take them 14 seconds to run off the bridge to where you are. They choose to stay put, demanding to be carries off. Do you run onto the bridge and carry them off, you may or may not make it back.
The wording is different, the scale is different, but underneath everything that question is at its core the same logic. What would you do?
