Two traffic officials from Standerton, Mpumalanga, a 38-year-old senior officer and a 47-year-old officer were arrested by the Hawks and the National Traffic Anti-Corruption Unit following a corruption investigation at the Lekwa Municipality Traffic Department. The probe began after motorists reported being forced to pay bribes. An undercover officer was stopped for speeding and driving without a licence, and was allegedly coerced into paying R300 after an initial demand of R500. He was then allowed to leave without a fine. The suspects were arrested today and are expected to appear in court once processing is complete.

We actually have plenty of options on SA television,people just don’t scroll or search enough to find something they’d enjoy. Yes, telenovelas may look and feel the same, but over the years, different kinds of storylines have been explored. The real question is: did people actually watch? We had 1802: Love Defies Time,did they watch? Sibongile and The Dlaminis, did they watch? Smoke and Mirrors, did they watch?

📺 The audience doesn't watch the shows that they claim to want. The same people that come here and scream that they want "crime free" shows are ignoring Homecoming and Amalanga Awafani, great shows. Good thing that both these shows have been renewed for a season 2.
