@MhairiHunter @ScottingtonPost The joke was told 8 years ago. I would say that not many, if any of us has never told a joke or story that would not sit well in today’s world.

Twitter is full of people bemoaning the fact that political party leaders end up in the papers for telling filthy jokes as though there was ever a point where that situation would have had a different outcome.

@MhairiHunter @LilsRoseBell Most companies have to have a fire cupboard for flammable products. In the case of vapes I assume it’s deemed to be too expensive for the owners so they don’t bother! Batteries can also require a cabinet with ventilation. Cheap shite from unknown sources.

@LilsRoseBell You can't really have full modern fire safety measures in these buildings so I tend to agree.

Lot of chat re. vape shops. Currently they must be registered but there's no specific licensing regime. Think that needs to be rectified! Also think we should consider whether any business carrying a battery fire risk can be located in a heritage bldg without modern safeguards.

@ProphetsAble @SteHowarth3 Possibly as they weee removal men and had prices to take the items out that way, the lads doing the drop off are paid to drop it off. If you pay to get it assembled then you must also declare that it’s up stairs and pay accordingly!! Nothing is free especially other people’s time

@SteHowarth3 Look upon it a two chests of drawers? Once had to take a piano out of the first floor windows of a London house and the bed out of the third floor window. Sash cord windows were ideal, the removal men considered it an everyday part of the job.

If you are thinking of buying any furniture from Dusk I would advise you not to. I measured the sofabed and stairs so it would fit when delivered. It arrived in a large box which the movers refuse to take upstairs or take out of the box and take upstairs and they won't allow me to. This is how they left it. Absolutely dire customer service. I will never ever buy anything from them again. They are not on X (wonder why!) but I will be psoting everywhere else they are on Social Media. This seems to be just how things are now. Sick of it. @GMacdonaldSNP Froze the council tax for votes and now we have lost loads of services and then got hit by around 15% rise the following years for a lesser service. How gullible are the SNP voters that they can’t see a bribe or the stupidity of no increase?
