@Lukewearechange Damaging an enemy's infrastructure makes it harder for them to defend against you. You can stop someone without destroying their military or even their will to fight. I'm against the war and I hope we don't further escalate it, but power plants are legit military targets.

First off, Jesus quoted Proverbs many times. The Old Law does not exist anymore but the New Testament says the Scriptures are still used for teaching. Even if Proverbs isn't enough, what about Romans? "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” God gives you authority to accept His vengeance. Here's Revelations discussing what happens to a manner of sinners including liars. "But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

@VTrashman @kangminlee It absolutely is like a "light one way street." We did nothing to merit God giving the gift of his son to save us from sin. We were given a "grace" undeserved and must follow all of 2 rules to make it pay off. (1) Have faith in Jesus as the Messiah and (2) forgive others.

Those command you to forgive. What is the system for forgiveness? As it quotes, "As your Father has forgiven you." There is a system. Jesus Christ was not some hippy. He was the ultimate teacher and Son of God. Do not speak of forgiveness as a light one way street. It is not that.
