@DComicTalks Notice how in MoS they had to confirm OUTSIDE the movie that no one died in the gas truck explosion, while this movie beats you over the head that these people survived. It’s almost like a lot of criticism can be dismissed if you show the audience the outcomes of something.

@pakuzunoha Also, you’re mixing up Bruce Timm & Paul Dini’s version of Superman with David S. Goyer & Zack Snyder’s version of Superman.
Since the DCEU’s version of Superman not only killed Zod in Man of Steel, in Batman V Superman he let members of Congress get killed by Lex Luthor.

To be fair, the major reason why I thought you were a conservative at first is because you said that you hated James Gunn’s version of Superman.

I don’t really view that as Batman-Lite.
Also, I watched the originally Superman: The Animated series. Most of Superman’s villains ended up staying alive.
Like Parasite & Toyman are very famous examples of this. Same thing with Livewire.

James Gunn’s “Superman” sequel, “Man of Tomorrow,” is currently casting the role of Maxima.

Mainly because I feel like Singer wasn’t really trying to be faithful to the comics at all, and was trying too hard to do a sequel to the Donner Trilogy.
When it comes to Zack Snyder, I just feel like he was trying way too hard to adapt the New 52 version of Superman.
