This is beyond horrific.
ICE is terrorizing our communities, and Republicans in Congress voted to send the rogue agency more blank checks.

Supergirl made more money than Batman: Mask of The Phantasm, and Batman: Mask of The Phantasm has had about more time in theaters than Supergirl is going to have in theaters by the end of its theatrical run.

Joan Sebastian Salguero, the 26-year-old husband & father killed by ICE today in Maine, was at least the 9th person killed by federal immigration agents, and at least the 22nd person shot, during the lawless regime of Donald Trump.

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was a father of three who built houses in Houston, started his own business, and raised his family here for 35 years. His son became a teacher. ICE agents killed him in cold blood. Lorenzo is at least the 8th person killed, and at least the 21st person shot by federal immigration agents during the Trump Administration. There’s only one incident (in Hennepin County, Minnesota) where anyone is being held accountable. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum is planning legal action – that’s where we are. Other countries have to bring action to address human rights violations here. Meanwhile, I was in court this week on behalf of a three-year-old who's been needlessly separated from her mother for almost a year now. And she’s just one of thousands of other kids. For Lorenzo, Renee, and Alex, for Estrella (not her real name), and so many more whose names we don’t know: We will not grow complacent, or tired, or distracted, or accustomed to ICE’s brutality. I will never, as long as I live, forget #SamNeill in #ThePiano. He was almost unbearably tortured in a horribly real way that culminated in a moment that looked like, but was not, evil. Instead, he forced me to accept the capacity of the human heart to betray it's own goodness, which is much worse than pure evil. That performance, in my opinion, is his masterpiece. He was a phenomenal actor. I am sad to hear he has gone from us.
