Stagecoach is admittedly still a smaller festival, but its expansion and ticket sell-out this year vs. Coachella not selling out for the 2nd year in a row... seems to be a leading/lagging indicator for a lot of things in culture.

Underdiscussed is the effect that pivoting to web3 in the 2021-23 era has had on otherwise mainstream/normie marketers. A boon for some, a bust for others. Big brand folks who avoided that whole arena are naturally averse to hiring those who went all-in. Some that did pivot have channeled that innovation energy into AI roles. Lots of folks straight up erasing that part of their history on LinkedIn for fear of negative perception by recruiters. A career accelerant for some, a lost year+ for others, exacerbated by the pandemic. There's a really interesting story here for the right journalist to write about.
