@gbaroth i mean tinned fish has been trending solidly since 2021. they are seeing this velocity *specifically* with their sardine product. they sell lots of other types of tinned fishes.
English

@milkkarten I'm sure the main uptick is just the fact that tinned fish overall was trending

The White House, Oracle and Silver Lake won't answer questions about a $10 billion payment that was apparently required to secure the TikTok sale.

@moneyries @BobbysByline they can bump it for sure but look at the views that kickstarter usually gets. i think it’s fair to say that is a winning hook, regardless of the collab.

@danielcincu @TheStalwart i called it “evidence of effort” in my piece. talked about how on social media, audiences are often making snap decisions on whether they want to stick around to watch a piece of content. and perceived effort is a strong way to create that cognitive buy in.
English

@TheStalwart @milkkarten I'd been noticing this but didn't really stop and think about it. What are they calling it? Effort Marketing?

I don’t think there’s ever been en a technology whose builders constantly promise that, if they succeed, tens of millions of jobs will be destroyed and the world might end.

AI is deeply unpopular. According to Pew, sadly only 17% of Americans think AI will have a positive impact. In China, 83% believe AI will be positive. A token tax & political backlash is coming unless the narrative changes. 🇺🇸👀🧐
