American athletes fly private and then get bused into the stadium and rarely have these moments where people can know where a team bus would be

Wow, Hammond & Indiana going ALL out to overpay , overcommit & f’over its taxpayers . A state that always boasts a no debt, balanced budget will FA&FO to appease the luckiest family on earth.. a private, for-profit enterprise.. a not-for-public entity. All for 8 or 9 games a year. Big question is: will that facility be a successful venue for concerts & other non NFL “shows”?

Indiana is open to helping facilitate buying out the Bears’ lease at Soldier Field, which runs through 2033, to play earlier in Hammond.
If shovels were put in the ground this summer, the hope is for the Bears to make a bid to host the Super Bowl in Northwest Indiana by 2032.

@MilanNaples @SkySportsNews Saying "no one is watching" is a stretch. The tournament has definitely lost some star power and a few of the expected contenders are gone, but people still tune in for high-level tennis. Empty seats in a few sections don't automatically mean the event has no audience.

The Bears’ Board of Directors voted Thursday to advance the stadium development in Hammond, Indiana, with the exact to be selected. This is this first time that the Bears’ board has voted on any stadium site. As one source said, “There is more work to do but barring anything very strange, it’s a done deal.”
