Good bloody riddance. No one wants Zionists in Hackney.
Hen Mazzig@HenMazzig

Let me tell you about Jessie Ware. She’s a British Jewish artist. She built part of her brand on being Jewish. And for a moment after October 7th — when Jews were being massacred, taken hostage, burned alive in the worst attack on our people since the Holocaust— she spoke up. She acknowledged that her people were being slaughtered. But then the blowback came, and she went quiet. In that moment, she made a choice. A very calculated choice. Keep the Jewish aesthetic. Lose the Jewish spine. Use the identity when it’s cool, when it adds a layer to an interview, when it helps you access celebrities in America, when it makes you interesting at a dinner party in Shoreditch, but the moment it requires actual courage, the moment standing with your people costs you a booking or a follower or a room full of people who find Zionists acceptable targets? Drop it. Fast. I know this personally. We were supposed to meet for coffee a few years ago in Dalston, East London. I used to love that neighborhood so much, but I had to leave when the antisemitism became too bad. She and I spoke. And then one day, I noticed she’d unfollowed me. No message. No “I disagree with something you said.” Just gone. That’s who she is. And now she’s performing at “House Against Hate.” I want you to sit with that name for a second. House. Against. Hate. I almost laughed when I saw it. Almost. An event headlined alongside some of the most anti-Israel, antisemitic voices operating in London right now. Hatred, it turns out, is absolutely welcome as long as it’s directed at Jews who refuse to publicly disown the majority of our own community. You can be Jewish, but you have to be the right kind. The kind that performs self-flagellation for an audience. The kind that calls Zionism — the belief that Jews deserve a homeland— a hate movement. Do that, and the rooms stay full. Don’t, and you’re cancelled. Jessie Ware chose the rooms. I moved out of East London because the neighborhood I loved became somewhere I didn’t feel safe as a Jew. She’s still playing its stages. There’s a word for performing Jewish identity while abandoning Jewish people. I’ll let you find it yourself.

@HeidiBachram Zoe is the Green Mayoral candidate for Hackney which is where I live. Heather Mendic is known to be quite nasty I'm surprised she still teaming up with Greens because she's a Corbyn cultist & she claims to be Jewish. Due to shit I'm weirdly restricted I have to keep a low profile

@Geraldi31348001 @HeidiBachram Wow! I know Heather well. She is an unstinting campaigner for poor residents of Hackney, and a deeply empathic person. I know @UKLabour is worried about losing control of Hackney, but does this kind of unwarranted personal attack help you? "Claims to be Jewish"?? Excuse me?

BREAKING: A group of peaceful signholders have gathered outside New Scotland Yard, the offices of @metpoliceuk holding “I oppose genocide - I support Palestine Action” signs. This comes just days after the Met U-turned on their policy not to arrest people for this act.

@RacksSound Blaming Jews for the actions of Israel or suggesting that it's the Jews that are out to get Dr Rahmeh Aladwan is very much antisemitic. Claiming that there is Jewish supremacism in the United Kingdom is literally a conspiracy theory.

These volunteers who moderate your WhatsApp community should have picked up on the comments being made targeting Jews and dealt with it immediately. You have commentary here in the attached screenshot that focuses exclusively on targeting Jews and using terms like 'Jewish supremacist'. It is unclear from the redacted screenshot that has been circulated as to whether it's the same person saying people shouldn't be afraid to say Jewish rather than Zionist who then goes on to use the term abomination. We are no closer to the truth from this @Greens4P thread sadly because you haven't posted the unredacted WhatsApp conversation so we can see what the person is replying to in their remarks. It should be an automatic big red flag though that people are sharing posts about Jewish supremacy from Dr Rahmeh Aladwan. In all honesty this whatsapp conversation is a huge mess and as an organisation I sincerely hope you engage with the following resources on antisemitism: 1. April Rosenblum's 2007 pamphlet 'The Past Didn't go anywhere' available here: theanarchistlibrary.org/library/april-… 2. The JFREJ resources on antisemitism available here: jfrej.org/campaigns/anti… 3. The diaspora alliance resources available here: diasporaalliance.co Please take this serious and get to grips with recognising and tackling antisemitism.

As a Palestinian woman, I have faced years of harassment, threats, doxxing, and intimidation by Zionist men. They target us in particular but they will not stop there. They will come for anyone who speaks out. This violent, extremist, colonial ideology targets Palestinians, especially women and children, to seize our homes, lives, and futures. One of the first major acts of modern terrorism in Palestine was the bombing of the King David Hotel by the Zionist paramilitary group Irgun in 1946, which killed 91 people. Since then, Zionist groups have carried out acts of terror across the region and the world. They have a history of targeting Palestinians abroad, including the assassination of activist Alex Odeh in the U.S., and continue to expand their influence and attacks wherever they operate. They must be stopped. Elected officials or state representatives who work with or support these groups must be investigated. Their rhetoric enables Zionist terrorism. Gaza exposed it to the world and we must act accordingly.

If you want to annoy people like David Taylor and the Daily Mail, contribute to our crowdfunder to help me and my comrades win in May crowdfunder.co.uk/p/our-election…
David Taylor MP@DavidTaylor85

Labour rightly expelled Ms Mendick over alleged antisemitism, so why is the @TheGreenParty's Zoe Garbett endorsing her AND running on a joint platform? If they had any principles they would end any association with these candidates immediately. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

The morning after Hannah won I was asked time and time again about this. There was no evidence for it. Instead the establishment media fuelled the fire. It was Islamaphobic. And it's because those in power are scared of us ending rip off Britain.

Greater Manchester Police say they have no evidence of family voting after an extensive investigation, including speaking to Democracy Volunteers and seizing CCTV: We’ve concluded our investigation into alleged ‘family voting’ at last month’s Gorton and Denton by-election, finding no evidence of any intent to influence or refrain any person from voting. Our investigation into alleged influencing of voters at a polling booth (under Section 62C Representation of the People Act 1983 (Ballot Secrecy Act 2023)) began after a criminal report from the Reform UK party following a public statement made by independent electoral observers at Democracy Volunteers. We have spoken to the four Democracy Volunteers observers present at polling stations on the day of the by-election (26 February) who have shared with us their eyewitness account. This includes some instances of more than one voter going into a booth at the same time, and instances of people looking over the shoulder of voters. The information they have provided to us estimates this may have happened on 32 occasions across 15 polling stations. The observers do not allege any verbal instruction or physical conduct that indicated one person was directing or coercing another regarding how to vote. This is a crucial part of the legislation to prove such an offence was committed. Our investigation team, led by an experienced senior investigating officer, spoke to all four volunteers from Democracy Volunteers as part of our enquiries – obtaining a copy of their observations. We also spoke to the Presiding Officers at 15 stations as well as the Acting Returning Officer, none of whom received any reports other than from Democracy Volunteers. We have received no further criminal reports. For us to investigate allegations, we require an understanding of who the potential suspects may be, and evidence that may corroborate eyewitness accounts. For an investigation to meet the criminal threshold for prosecution, we require admissible evidence of intent or action aimed at influencing the vote. We have asked Democracy Volunteers for descriptions of those alleged to be involved, and timings on when these are believed to have occurred. These details were not documented by observers or the complainant, and we have not been provided with any identities or descriptions to pursue. The absence of this information means there is no remaining reasonable line of enquiry. This also includes limitations with CCTV as an absence of descriptions, and votes not being time-stamped, meaning we are not able to identify individuals from footage. We have approached all 45 polling stations in the Gorton and Denton constituency to ask for CCTV from the day. Forty-one of those polling stations told us they did not have CCTV activated in the building as it would have compromised the secrecy of the vote during polling day, in line with advice given. We have seized and viewed CCTV from three of the remaining four polling stations. These are three polling station that Democracy Volunteers visited. We have spoken to the Presiding Officer from each one. However, these stations do not show any evidence of anyone directing or coercing another regarding how to vote – the crucial part of the legislation to prove such an offence was committed. There is no evidence to suggest any intent to influence or refrain a person from voting as stated in the Ballot Secrecy Act 2023. We have been liaising with the Electoral Commission, who we have shared our findings with. We have also shared our findings with the Returning Officer. We have updated the complainant about the work of our investigation and the conclusion we have reached.
