As we outsource more cognitive tasks to AI, we're creating an unprecedented risk of collective skill atrophy. The convenience of AI assistance comes with the cost of diminished human capability. This is affecting higher order thinking like strategic reasoning and creative problem solving. We're optimizing for immediate productivity at the expense of long-term cognitive resilience.

This could be the final phase of the attention economy. As AI becomes capable of generating unlimited content, human attention becomes infinitely scarce while content becomes infinitely abundant. This inversion breaks the fundamental economic model of the internet. The new currency won't be attention but verification, the ability to distinguish authentic from synthetic, human from AI-generated. The platforms that master verification architecture will define the next digital era. We're moving from attention harvesting to authenticity verification.

@_PradeepGoel AI’s biggest impact in healthcare is catching risk early, not just treating disease later.

Researchers at the University of Gothenburg have shown that AI can identify early risk patterns for melanoma using routine healthcare data, flagging some individuals with up to a 33% chance of developing skin cancer within five years. Using registry data from more than six million adults in Sweden, the models analyzed variables such as age, diagnoses, medications, and socioeconomic factors. The strongest systems significantly outperformed basic screening methods based only on age and sex. What’s notable here is the shift in how AI creates value in healthcare. This is not AI diagnosing cancer from an image after disease appears. It is AI identifying risk before symptoms emerge. That moves medicine upstream, from treatment to prevention, from reactive care to targeted intervention. Most healthcare systems are designed around responding to illness. But the real leverage lies in knowing who needs attention earlier, while outcomes are still highly changeable. AI becomes powerful when it helps allocate scarce resources, screenings, clinician time, monitoring, to the right people at the right moment. It also shows that valuable intelligence often comes from existing data, not futuristic sensors or new hardware. Many breakthroughs will come from using already available records more intelligently. The future of healthcare AI may be less about replacing doctors and more about reshaping population health strategy through better prioritization and early detection. Intelligence is most useful when it improves decisions before problems escalate

AI agents are starting to pull humans back into the loop Humwork, founded by @UCBerkeley graduates, is building a system where AI agents can call on human experts when they get stuck. The model is simple. Agents handle the bulk of the work, but when they hit limits, legal nuance, edge-case bugs, design judgment, they escalate to a network of vetted professionals. Early data shows fast response times and high resolution rates. It’s a different direction from full automation. Instead of replacing humans, this approach treats them as on-demand intelligence, stepping in only where AI falls short. That raises an interesting shift. As agents become more capable, the role of humans may narrow but deepen, less routine work, more high-context intervention. The question isn’t just whether AI replaces people. It’s how work gets divided between systems that scale infinitely and humans who step in when it actually matters.

Privacy isn’t a feature. It’s architecture. If your AI runs in the cloud - it’s not private.

We're creating a new kind of inequality, not in access to information, but in participation in intelligence creation. Those who can contribute to and benefit from AI systems will gain compound advantages, while others fall further behind. This intelligence divide will exacerbate existing inequalities if left unaddressed. The solution is to democratize participation in its creation. We need systems that make it easy and rewarding for anyone to contribute to AI development, regardless of technical expertise. The future of AI must be inclusive by design, not by afterthought.

The biggest barrier to AI adoption is trust. We need trust architectures built into AI systems from the ground up, not added as compliance layers after the fact. Trust architectures include transparency about training data, explainability of decisions, auditability of processes, and clear value exchange with contributors. They make trust verifiable rather than assumed. Systems built on these principles will outperform centralized models not just in capability but in user adoption and retention. Trust isn't a constraint on innovation, it's the foundation for sustainable AI.

Most integration platforms store your API keys on their servers. Zapier holds your Salesforce credentials. Make. com holds your Stripe key. You're trusting the integration layer with the keys to your business. PAI3 Oracles work differently. 🧵

How we interact with AI is wrong in many ways. We're still using computer interfaces (text prompts, graphical interfaces) for a different kind of intelligence. The next breakthrough won't be in models but in interfaces. Imagine AI systems that understand intent rather than commands, that learn your communication style rather than forcing you to learn theirs, that anticipate needs rather than waiting for instructions. This interface evolution will make AI accessible to billions who find current approaches unnatural or intimidating.
