@Sparzito_ Just clarifying: he wasn't arrested, they detained him at the airport and took the weed. Brazil has weird laws, it's not illegal to use weed, but it is illegal to sell it or board a plane with it. Anything under 25g or 6 plants falls under personal use & can only get confiscated.

We have the most diverse culture in the world, unmatched natural sights and even free healthcare and college education for all (including tourists/foreigners). A few cities even offer free public transportation (about to be implemented nationwide).

@LordPot6 @SFiachni @nxd1979 Brazil isn't dangerous if you stay out of certain neighborhoods. The problem is foreigners that take tours of the favelas when they visit and end up getting mugged. Trust me, if you don't go into the few places people warn you not to go to, Brazil is safer than most countries.
