SOVEREIGNTY BELONGS TO ALLAH Democracy; a system of governance that emanates from kufr, born out of the man-made ideology, capitalism. It places sovereignty in the hands of man, not the Creator. For this reason, it's haram for a Muslim to participate, promote, or call towards it.

Finally let's reflect upon the Hadith of our Prophet ﷺ where he said: يَخْرُجُ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ حَنَاجِرَهُمْ “A people will emerge from my Ummah who will recite the Qur’an, but it will not go beyond their throats.” 5 of 6
