This is known as a package drawing, a dimensionally accurate representation of the layout of a car with all the major engineering components. SAE standardised mannequins are used to make sure a range of body sizes can reach all the controls, legal viewing angles and to check for head swing clearance (the horizontal half-ellipse above the skull). It’s all done digitally, but my car design students have to make a basic version for their final major projects to demonstrate they understand the principles involved.

Spring has arrived just in time. Feeling much less stressed with some sunshine and fresh air. Phew. 😊

If you can tell what vehicle this is, I'll be pretty impressed. I will say that it seems pretty on brand for this manufacturer to replace a rev counter with a clock, though!

I recall taking my then 6 year old son to Santa Pod. First pass he squeezed his earphones to his head, then laughed uncontrollably at the vibrations.

Listening to the BRM through a stereo with proper separation is great - if you know Donington circuit you can tell where it is all the way round.

Think EVs sound boring? This is what the Hyundai Ioniq 6N sounds like when it's actually moving (unlike the demo car). It's bloody fantastic!
