Here are a few ideas to improve Apartment design 3/ Outlaw painted surfaces 4/ Solid balustrading to 760mm 5/ Require an openable external window to all lift lobbies. 6/ Remove lazy hobs from construction detailing. #apartments @PhilipThalis #nswpol

@Peter_Fitz I just think Utzon was a gentleman in the truest sense of the word- sorry but I do feel strongly about this

Opinion: Glorious cities are not just collections of icons. You don’t beautify things by demolishing your latest irritation, be it Blues Point Tower or the Sydney Aquarium | @emfarrelly #Echobox=1606436804" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">smh.com.au/national/nsw/s…

Brutal but beautiful: Stokes' list of Sydney's architectural gems smh.com.au/national/nsw/b… Siriusly good list @RobStokesMP Great conversation too. One we need to have. #nswpol @NSWChapterPres #cities

The Cahill: keep it as a grand edge and colonnade to #Sydney Harbour or demolish it and bury the railway station underground to make a great public square? Wouldn’t it be great if the Treasurer funded a design comp? @PhilipThalis @NSWChapterPres #nswpol smh.com.au/national/nsw/a…

@anthony06108170 @ShaunCarter70 @PhilipThalis @NSWChapterPres I think this the most innovative suggestion and the easiest to implement also. An elevated ‘High Line’ promenade linking the Botanical Gardens to The Rocks. The public square concept relies on moving the trams out and still won’t connect to the water due to the ferry wharves.
