Daily US-Israel-Iran War Brief: 19th March 2026 - We will be posting daily war updates from today on the ongoing war in Middle East - ⁠Today we start with an overall summary of events till now, including updates from today - ⁠Stay connected for daily updates. ● Last night, Iranian forces successfully struck the Ras Laffan refinery in Qatar, causing a large fire. ● Qatar has reportedly expelled Iranian embassy officials following the strike on its Ras Laffan facility. ● Two of Kuwait's three oil refineries, Mina Al-Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah, were struck by Iranian drones early this morning, causing multiple fires. The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) confirmed that emergency teams successfully extinguished the blazes with no reported injuries. ● A drone strike hit the Samref refinery in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. In Qatar, the Ras Laffan LNG facility, the world’s largest liquefied natural gas complex, suffered extensive damage from an Iranian missile. ● An Iranian missile attack killed four people, including a pregnant woman, in the West Bank town of Beit Awwa. ● The UAE reported intercepting 7 ballistic missiles and 15 drones targeting its Habshan gas facilities and Bab oil field; falling debris caused a temporary operational suspension.

Daily US-Israel-Iran War Brief: 18th March 2026 - We will be posting daily war updates from today on the ongoing war in Middle East - ⁠Today we start with an overall summary of events till now, including updates from today - ⁠Stay connected for daily updates. ● Israel announced the killing of Esmail Khatib, Iran’s Minister of Intelligence, in an overnight strike in Tehran. ● Iran’s National Security Council officially confirmed the death of Ali Larijani. ● Brigadier General Gholamreza Soleimani, commander of the Basij paramilitary force, was also killed in Tehran. ● Senior advisor to the UAE president said the country is considering joining US efforts to secure the Strait of Hormuz. ● Japan PM said they don’t plan to send forces to the Strait of Hormuz. ● The IDF also killed Yahya Abu-Labda, a Hamas supply commander, who oversaw weapons and rocket production. ● Indian-flagged tanker Jag Laadki, carrying ~80000 metric tonnes of crude oil through strait of Hormuz, successfully reached Mundra Port, Gujarat, today. ● The IDF has officially expanded its ground operations in Southern Lebanon. ● Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and UAE reported intercepting Iranian projectiles today. ● Iranian projectile landed on Australian facilities in UAE. Around 3 lakh tonnes of LPG aboard six Indian ships remain stranded in the Strait of Hormuz. One vessel, Nanda Devi, has reached Kandla Port and begun unloading. A total of 22 Indian vessels are currently in the region, carrying LPG, LNG, crude oil and other cargo. Authorities said ports are monitoring the situation and providing support, including extra storage.
