Daily US-Israel-Iran War Brief: 3rd May 2026 - We will be posting daily war updates on the ongoing war in Middle East - Follow us for daily Brief. ● Israel has approved its fourth F-35I “Adir” squadron, expanding the IAF fleet toward ~100 advanced stealth fighters from the current 2 operational squadrons at Nevatim. ● OPEC+ members Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman agreed to a production adjustment of 188,000 barrels/day from their voluntary cuts, effective June 2026. ● CENTCOM notes that of today, 49 commercial vessels have been redirected to comply with blockade. ● An Israeli court in Ashkelon has extended the detention of two flotilla activists by two days following their interception by the navy. ● Iran’s 14-point proposal clashes with US demands, as Tehran wants to delay nuclear talks while Washington insists Iran first give up its 400 kg+ of highly enriched uranium. Iran instead prioritizes reopening the Strait of Hormuz before nuclear negotiations. ● The India-bound LPG tanker SARV SHAKTI has successfully cleared the Strait of Hormuz as of this morning. Its full transit could take ~10-14 hours. ● President Trump announced he is raising tariffs on cars and trucks from the EU to 25%, effective next week. ● China's Commerce Ministry today issued an injunction blocking U.S. sanctions on five Chinese refineries buying Iranian oil, shielding its energy imports. ● Seven OPEC+ member countries have reached a preliminary agreement to increase oil production targets by roughly 188,000 barrels per day in June, despite UAE’s exit. ● The Trump administration announced over $8.6 billion in emergency arms sales to Middle Eastern partners today, including Israel, Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE.
