Media is gonna try to frame this as “trying to do right for Reinbachers development” but HUGE red flag that ur only other consistent RD goes down and your top 5 pick in his D+3 isn’t the only thought for a call up.

@GenoManager Honestly I think they don't see this year as part of the window, as opposed to many fans. They'd rather keep Reinbacher in the AHL if they don't expect to win.

@NicolasPar5 Engstrom is a 2022 3rd round pick. Reinbacher is a top 5 pick with now 120+ pro games (70+ in NA)
He’s being treated by the org and the fanbase as a 7th rounder. In the big picture if he busts it doesn’t mean much tbh, we have Dobson. But they obviously don’t think high of him
