@FrimlLab Yes, he had a strong personality, but was a true scientist at heart. I remember him complaining that I didn’t cite some of his papers. I told him I can’t access them. The next day (!) a FedEx arrived in California with All the reprints 😄

With great sadness, we have learned of the passing of David G. Robinson—a pivotal figure in plant cell biology and the heart and soul of the now-legendary ENPER meetings. I will remember him as an outstanding scientist, a passionate debater, and a friend.
