My thoughts on Kuminga: is he THE guy or a stopgap to hold them over until they find THE guy? If it's the latter you don't give up your only remaining swap. The former then you do BUT:
If he wants more than $10 mil per year that's fine. If he's THE guy then commit, but that has to hold true for both sides. No two year deal with a player option. Can't give him the ability to walk if LA is giving up money and a swap. Otherwise you wind up in the same spot next summer but with fewer assets to go land the long-term wing.

I don't think the Lakers did anything wrong moving on from Bron and focusing on Luka. I do think they were checked out on Bron before Luka got here and that was malpractice. I do think they were unnecessarily toxic with how they treated Bron. I do think they are a poorly run team
