We need to talk about rugs in this space and the update we just deployed. Today's update is very important. We've completely overhauled the deployment method of tax tokens and deployed numerous security updates to make the platform safer. A new system has been added to combat snipers, ruggers, and to protect investors. The following actions have been taken: - We no longer provide the Distributor Private Key to the Developer, because some developers, have been stealing funds from the Distributor thinking that they won't get caught. To combat this, it has now been removed. You can request for your private key via a discord ticket if you need it, however you must have a good reason and prove ownership. - When you create a token, you must now add liquidity immediately and you do this via our interface, the whole process is pretty much instant, ensuring that any sniper won't have time to do research on your deployed token and possibly set up a sniper. This is because snipers always read on-chain data and look at every token deployed then automate the sniping. The process is now instant. - We added a new SAFU system for tokens. When creating the token we only allow you to create a static 1b token amount, and we prompt you to burn your tokens after adding liquidity from the same page. If you do, the launch fee is returned to you and you can launch on DISTRIBUTE for free. You will also gain a "SAFU" badge on your token. This shows to investors that you are a legitimate project. However, you have the option to skip burning the LP, if you do, you will have to pay a 0.5 SOL fee to launch your token, otherwise it's free. You can also skip if you want to lock your liquidity via Streamflow, you must lock all of it for 3 months to be eligible for SAFU badge. We will return your fee if you do so and add the SAFU badge. The SAFU badge should prevent rugging in most cases by adding 100% of tokens to the LP and burning it. As such, we mainly recommend investing in SAFU projects. If you are an existing token, you can request SAFU badge as long as your LP is burned or have a lock longer than 3 months.
