World has been stressful, so I have begun to make printable pages for myself: to write, to draw, to put the mind elsewhere. (Made for 8.5x11 paper. Higher lb. for wet/ink media works.) Gaster,in various forms,meant to vary. Open questions or reflections. #Gaster #GasterTherapy

Yeah I'm drawing Gaster again but with my new hyperfixation that's I've had for 8 months, anyways he had a fat walrus man and squid as his "friends" Once again I treat Gaster more like an OC at this point guys, don't expect anything remotely "cannon" like from me with DR/UT

@gonergnostic Have we considered that he has not only been used as a hoola-hoop, but instead behind the humour he has instead been used as the Summoning Circle of various occult works? Among his dizziness/sports concussions, he has seen the tattered veil of the divine.

@_MegaSonicBros_ @PanncakePK If deltarune fully comes out, then maybe one of these two could really fit the horror aesthetic (And Gaster treating the Realm as a side experiment from Deltarune would go pretty hard)

@Dogblaster99 I was going to remark earlier about Gaster's implied voice in DR: as, given in Deltarune (such as relation to divinity and glowing text), it leaves one wondering if there will ever be a sound attached or revealed later on? Post transcendence: it depends on the mind who listens

@NullPoiesis Oh yes, that makes sense, but then I suppose that after being shattered across time and space, Gaster voice must have changed drastically. And yes, with what you said, his voice before probably sounded a bit higher.

While there is avid discussion of Gaster around, I thought to share this again to see if perhaps others may share the regard. (I could also make a remark about Wingdings as being without general parallel, and a vague mention of Star Wars Geonosian.)

@Dogblaster99 Yet, I can also see your point in that the 'unearthly demon' voice, as of Zalgospeak visually, is also highly associated with Friend at this point - given the horror noosphere and treatment of such inhuman/glitchy/staticy mimickry of sound.

@NullPoiesis Honestly, I like this concept, but I think it would suit Friend better, I don't know why, but he was the one who immediately came to mind when I heard the voice.

@GThedog6 Thank you. I was going to mention that the horizon line is tilted not just out of style here, but because either the viewer is rising (as if from falling or righting their focus), or the orientation doesn't fit with the general concepts of space or up and down.

@NullPoiesis Such an interesting perspective! Really neat focus on his hands and the implied figure that stretches past the arm. I think something that adds to Gaster is the mysterious setting; the strange string of these green lines and waves that surround him. Really nice

@ehvihn @peeeeeeeeeeaf I would say that this aspect is the more important to me, in the grand scale of Deltarune or Undertale's relevance to me. My generally poor memory keeps me from advanced theorizing, yet my interest has always been with Gaster, cognition, perception, connection, and synthesis.

@peeeeeeeeeeaf its p much Deltarune Theory of Everything which is insane and all-encompassing but i think the concept of such a large project could be enticing if i had others to work on it together and chip at it. delves a lot into irl religion and mysticism and philosophy if you’re into that
