A lot of people using this Cody/Randy situation as a gotcha moment for several things. ‘This is karma for Cody politicking to avoid Roman’ - I’d rather have Cody go through shit every year than have him lay down to one of the most protected individuals in the history of this company. Someone who is rarely ever there automatically getting back to the top despite not doing anything because his cousin is on the board lmao. ‘This is karma for not letting Rock vs Roman happen’ - That would’ve been the most self serving match of all time. The company would’ve benefited on the RTWM and at WrestleMania itself and it would’ve went back to where it was. Roman’s reign being ass the way it was after SummerSlam 2023 and The Rock dipping taking the viewers with him. ‘This is karma for taking the title off of Drew’ - Cody wanted to drop it to Drew immediately at Palooza because he knew him defeating a babyface Cena left a sour taste in the mouth of fans and it would’ve given them something fresh to have. TRIPLE H declined that to have Cody lose to Seth to build him up for Roman at WrestleMania. Like how Cody was used to build up Solo for Roman. Shocker. All these lame ass attempts for gotchas are hilarious and it’s by the same individuals.
