🎶 And after all.. 🎶
Preliminary numbers are in and the record books need more space: Norway-England brings in 19.481M viewers and Argentina-Switzerland tallies 15.967M - both on FOX - to rank as the most-watched Quarterfinals telecasts in English-language U.S. history. 🏆⚽️📺
@KiloStunnas@ProWFinesse So being critical for wanting the product to improve is a bad thing now?
No wonder why Raw barely does 2.5 million globally on NETFLIX. Just watched by a bunch of fan boys lol
@ProWFinesse How can you think any war games match being exhausting!? That's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard!! War games are some of the best matches ever made!! There's stuff wrestlers do in these matches that can't be done in any other match!!
@unscriptedtom@RingsideFeed@Thecoachrules He wasn’t on last week and he’s isn’t scheduled to be on next Monday. This is Summerslam, not Wrestlepalooza. If his contract limits the appearances, that’s why they’re saying they should shoot pretapes at his home to compensate for the weeks he’s not at the arena
WWE is committing a MASSIVE blunder by letting Roman Reigns vanish during the most critical weeks leading to SummerSlam. Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo are calling out the lazy creative that treats the main event like a part-time hobby.
Coach points out that ticket sales are currently ABSYMAL with 38 percent of inventory still sitting empty. It is a fundamental failure of the promotional business. Russo is furious, noting that if Roman cannot be in the arena, the company should be flying to his house to film segments. Instead, they do nothing. As Russo says, "You guys are half-assing it."
Stop treating your biggest star like a ghost and start building a PLE that actually matters. 😤

@execution84@RingsideFeed He wasn’t on last week and he’s not scheduled to be on next Monday. This is the 2nd biggest event of the year, not some random b level ple
@James3FB@ShAdOwXPR@FOXSportsPR@FOXSports@FOXSoccer Literally had 50 million viewers on a Monday night for a round of 16 game. If they had gotten to the final and played Argentina or England, it most definitely could’ve gotten SB level viewership
@V0NUM@krispyy100@arielhelwani You give yourself the best opportunity regardless. Simple as that. Fighting a former title holder with basically no camp and likely having an awful weight cut due to the timing and flying 16 hours is stupid business
@_jdiking@krispyy100@arielhelwani Not with that mindset lmao Matt Serra even with all the training in the world had statistically no shot to beat GSP guess what happened……. It’s fighting anything can happen anyone can lose
Paulo Costa reveals the UFC contacted him yesterday about replacing Khalil Rountree Jr. against Magomed Ankalaev after Rountree's withdrawal for UFC Abu Dhabi:
"It's less than 14 days to get a flight to Abu Dhabi. It's a 16-hour flight, five rounds, for the same money, and not even for an interim belt. I don't think that makes sense right now."
@V0NUM@arielhelwani Ya dirty if Paulo were to lose that fight he would’ve been put at the back of the line. The UFC gives stars favorable treatment. They clearly don’t view Paulo as that, otherwise they would’ve offered additional money. Would’ve been silly for Paulo to accept under those terms
@_jdiking@arielhelwani He would just have to win 1 or 2 in a already weak division now since he publicly said all this they will hold it against him. He will need to win like five in a row for a title shot. Seen this story way too many times it’s a dirty business at times
@V0NUM@arielhelwani Fighting in Abu Dhabi favors Ank. INF is the biggest fight weekend of the year and on a Conor card on top of that. This is a random fight night lol. No way Paddy takes a fight 2 weeks out at a location this his opponent is comfortable fighting at
@_jdiking@arielhelwani Paddy just lost to Gaethje and said he would fight on international fight week and did he is 1-1 and potentially getting the next title fight lol it’s a business that picks favorites and stepping up when a fighter pulled out definitely would’ve put Paulo on their good side
@krispyy100@arielhelwani You’re not beating Ank a former champ on less than 2 weeks notice and having to fly across the globe. He would’ve been dead man walking
@arielhelwani I mean it’s a guaranteed title shot next if you win which is essentially the equivalent to an interim belt so that logic doesn’t make much sense
@V0NUM@arielhelwani If they really wanted him they would’ve given him more money. It’s a business. With zero prep and flying across the globe on that short of notice gives him no realistic shot of winning. No such thing as an eventual title shot after a loss.
@arielhelwani Dude you have to do the UFC a favor 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ if he lost he would still get a title shot eventually…… now they will remember this and he’s going to have to win like five fights in a row before getting a title shot if ever
@TWarPhilosopher He said he was gonna try to make another comeback he hurt or tore is ACL/ MCL not as bad as the broken leg and with a acl injury that’s a year out and it can be fixed
The last traces of my childhood have left me tonight. Time to grow up. I’ll never forget being a teenager going to Hooters with my dad and little brother to watch Conor fight for World Titles.
@Emerfav86@BlindBearMedia He’s been in Newport the week before his recent fights (Poirier trilogy, Cowboy). You can tell from his hairstyle it’s from within the last week. And a specialist is gonna have a better opinion then a general doctor. Don’t be dense
@BlindBearMedia This doesn't make sense and I doubt it's recent, He likely has a doctor on staff, He doesn't need to go to some random pain management doctor, If I had to guess this is rehashed from after the dustin fight when he stayed in the LA area rehabbing.
🚨BREAKING🚨
Conor McGregor was seen walking into “Newport Pain Management Clinic” just 4 days before UFC 329
He is seen limping on his right leg when walking in😳

@AllenSales Don’t sell England short if they face Argentina in the semis. Don’t see them as the type of team that would let Messi beat them single-handedly. Argentina has been hit or miss this WC excluding Messi
MLS is not taken seriously by the millions of soccer-first fans in the USA.
It is not the real version of soccer that people have been loving during this #FIFAWorldCup.
