@amatullah4733 @whylree @OpeBee You are not serious Mr man. Why not be logical and rational in your thinking process. Even if someone wanted to distrupt your family, would that be possible if no crack and breakdown in laws? Think like a living being.

@Choosin211 @OpeBee This mind of having everything free has made many to remain poor. I wonder if only in Nigeria do we have a poor person. Wisdom demand that we justify this by comparing. Nigeria is the cheapest comparing to other countries where MTN operates. Rate of consumption depends on u.

@soezeoge @the_rebeccah Oge, why did she deleted it? This hatred affects all of us. It is easier to damage than to build. When you supported the damage, 4 years wont be enough for your beloved candidate to repair. So, it is not the president, he will leave one day, but Nigeria, which is been destroyed.

WHY PREVIOUS GOVERNMENTS RAN AWAY FROM THESE REFORMS… AND WHY TINUBU DIDN’T. Please one again, help me SHARE this post and drop your opinion.. let's keep enlightening people. Let’s stop pretending we don’t know the truth. For over 30 years, Nigerian leaders knew the economy was broken — but they avoided fixing it. Why? Because real reforms come with pain, protests, and political risk. So they chose comfort over courage. 1. FUEL SUBSIDY – THE $10 BILLION POLITICAL TRAP. Every administration knew subsidy was a scam. Nigeria was spending up to $10 billion yearly on fuel subsidy Billions were disappearing into opaque networks and middlemen. Economists, the IMF, World Bank — all warned it was unsustainable. Yet presidents delayed. Why? Because removing it triggers instant anger from the masses. Even Goodluck Jonathan tried in 2012 — the country almost shut down. So others avoided it. Until Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu walked in and removed it on DAY ONE. The difference is that he was courageous and others weren't. 2. FX DECEPTION – THE NAIRA LIE EVERYONE PROTECTED. Before now, Nigeria operated multiple exchange rates: One for government insiders. One for investors. One for the black market. This created a corruption goldmine. No president wanted to touch it. Why? Because powerful interests were making billions from arbitrage. Tinubu unified the FX system — forcing the naira to reflect real market value. Painful? Yes. Necessary? Also yes. 3. TAX REFORMS – THE POLITICAL SUICIDE ZONE. Nigeria has one of the lowest tax-to-GDP ratios in the world. Every government talked about tax reform… None executed it boldly. Each time it was raised, Northern leaders rose up and threatened the president. And they abandoned it. But not Tinubu. Also, it was not supported by the masses. Why? Because Nigerians already distrust government spending. Raising or restructuring taxes = political backlash. Tinubu pushed ahead anyway — calling it a “once-in-a-generation fiscal reset” . 4. LOCAL GOVERNMENT & FAAC – FOLLOW THE MONEY. Before now: - Revenue leakages were massive. - States complained of low funds. - Local governments lacked autonomy. After reforms: FAAC allocations hit over ₦33.27 trillion in 11 months (2025) — a 30% increase. More money is now flowing. The real question is: What are governors doing with it? 5. THE REAL REASON OTHERS DID NOTHING. Let’s be honest: Previous leaders feared two things: The masses (protests, strikes, elections). The cabal (those benefiting from the broken system). So they postponed decisions. Kicked the can down the road. And protected the status quo. 6. WHAT TINUBU DID DIFFERENTLY Tinubu didn’t invent these reforms. He simply did what others were afraid to do: - Removed subsidy immediately - Floated the naira - Pushed tax restructuring - Enforced fiscal discipline Even critics admit: These issues were ignored for years due to fear of backlash. 7. THE HARD TRUTH NIGERIANS MUST FACE. Reforms are not magic. Prices went up. Inflation spiked. Life became harder in the short term . But here’s the flip side: Inflation is already slowing. Reserves rising to about $50 billion. GDP growth around 4%. For me , this president is just being revolutionary. The same Nigerians angry today, Would still be angry tomorrow if nothing was done. Because a broken system eventually collapses. So the real question is not: “Why is this painful?” The real question is: “Why did we allow leaders delay these decisions for decades?” Nigeria is finally confronting reality. The question is — can we endure the process? What other important things do you think Tinubu should focus on?

@Nig_Farmer You are too emotional and fail to see clearly. Go and read the document about the import prohibition and co, see, this is to your benefit. In business farming inclusive, you'll encounter profit or loss. Stop cursing. Keep evolving, be focused, and soon, you'll get to that height

Cassava takes 12 months of hard work to harvest, another labour to harvest and process add 1 month to that. 1 month of Pre-planning operations That's 14 months of hard work that has resulted in a loss of over 300k when the main investment was 470k Minus your own labour cost of 14 months. No one has come to support or help or even fund his business. If he borrowed the capital he is in a big debt already. But Nigerians want cheap food at the expense of the hard working farmers. When I said farmers should hold their maize bcs of price increase after we had a massive loss a year before... Everyone dragged me calling me names esp the APC id!ots on the TL saying I'm working against Mr President. As if na Mr President give me money to set up farm. Now that we are importing food and a whole lot of stuffs... Local farmers are out of business, no job for our youths but yeah we will have cheaper food 😎. SMH.
Oyeniran Michael@MikeAgrow

In 2025, we invested ₦200,000 into our cassava farm. With the market price crashing, we made the tough call to process everything into garri. Processing and logistics took another ₦270,000. Last month, we sold the garri and realized ₦143,000. That’s a painful loss of ₦327,000. My personal human capital is not included. Still, one thing is certain, we will smile again. Olasunkanmi Akapo you once asked, “Should food be expensive?” Well, food is now cheap but it’s coming at the expense of the farmer. To every farmer out there, keep going. Keep growing, even if it’s at your own pace. The tide will turn again and when it does, it will favour us. Farmer Adeoye

BREAKING: ADC has released INEC’s affidavit dated 12 September 2025 that affirmed David Mark led NWC Please pay particular attention to Clauses 14 to 19, which affirm that the leadership transition had already been completed and recognized by INEC, and that such internal party matters fall outside the scope of judicial interference. It is now crystal clear that Tinubu’s APC and the embattled INEC Chairman, Prof. Amupitan, are using INEC to push a one-party system in Nigeria. This development raises grave concerns about the independence, neutrality, and credibility of the electoral process in Nigeria. When an institution constitutionally expected to act as an impartial umpire is seen to be taking sides in internal party affairs, it strikes at the very foundation of democratic fairness and public trust. No democracy can survive where state institutions are turned into political weapons against opposition parties. What is happening before our eyes is not just an attack on ADC, but a dangerous attempt to weaken multiparty democracy and silence alternative political voices in Nigeria. Every patriotic citizen must understand the seriousness of this moment. We call on all Nigerians to rise to the occasion and save our democracy.

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE PRESIDENT TINUBU APPROVES N3.3 TRILLION PAYMENT PLAN TO RESTORE RELIABLE ELECTRICITY President Bola Tinubu has approved the payment plan to finally settle the outstanding debts under the Presidential Power Sector Financial Reforms Programme. The debt repayment plan followed the final review of the legacy debts that have beset the power sector for more than a decade. The long-standing debts accumulated between February 2015 and March 2025. Following verification, ₦3.3 trillion has been agreed as a full and final settlement, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution. Implementation has begun, with 15 power plants signing settlement agreements totalling ₦2.3 trillion. The Federal Government has already raised ₦501 billion to fund these payments. Out of the amount, N223 billion has been disbursed, with further payments underway. What this means for Nigerians: With payments reaching the power value chain, generation will be more stable. With power plants supported, electricity reliability will improve. And as the sector stabilises, more investment, more jobs, and better service will follow. “This programme is not just about settling legacy debts. It is about restoring confidence across the power sector — ensuring gas suppliers are paid, power plants can keep running, and the system begins to work more reliably," explained Olu Arowolo-Verheijen, Special Adviser on Energy to President Tinubu. “It is part of a broader set of reforms already underway — including better metering and service-based tariffs that link what you pay to the quality of electricity you receive. “The government is also prioritising power supply to businesses, industries, and small enterprises — because reliable electricity is critical to creating jobs, supporting livelihoods, and growing the economy. “The goal is simple: more reliable power for homes, stronger support for businesses, and a system that works better for all Nigerians," she added. President Tinubu has commended all stakeholders who supported efforts to resolve the legacy issues in the power sector. He has also confirmed that the next phase (Series II) will begin this quarter. I never knew a day would come when a Professor in Nigeria would not only rig elections for unintelligent, myopic, and fraudulent men, but would sit on live TV and turn white to black. Dear Amupitan, if you can't be honorable, at least pretend to respect your academic achievements. I am surprised, but not shocked. We now live in a country where forged certificate holders can be president; where the National Assembly will screen and recommend thieves for appointments, or bend the constitution for a share of stolen money.

INEC Nigeria@inecnigeria

PRESS RELEASE INEC’S POSITION ON THE COURT OF APPEAL’S DECISION IN APPEAL NO. CA/ABJ/145/2026: SENATOR DAVID MARK V HON. NAFIU BALA GOMBE & ORS The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has received: A letter from the law firm of Suleiman Usman SAN & Co. dated 16th March, 2026, titled: “RE: NOTICE OF PENDING PROCEEDINGS BEFORE THE FEDERAL HIGH COURT AND CAUTION AGAINST ANY PURPORTED RECOGNITION OF MR NAFIU BALA GOMBE AS ACTING NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF THE AFRICAN DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (ADC)” written on behalf of concerned stakeholders within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) A letter from the law firm of Summit Law Chambers also dated 16th March 2026 titled: “DEMAND FOR ENFORCEMENT OF THE ORDERS MADE BY THE COURT OF APPEAL, ABUJA DIVISION IN APPEAL NO: CA/ABJ/145/2026: SENATOR DAVID MARK V HON. NAFIU BALA GOMBE & 4 ORS” written on behalf of Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe. While the letter from Suleiman Usman SAN & Co urged the Commission not to recognise Mr Nafiu Bala Gombe as acting National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on account of the pending Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1819/2025: Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe v. ADC & 4 Ors. before the Federal High Court, Abuja, where the question of the leadership of the Party (ADC) is presently being contested, the letter from Summit Law Chambers, on the other hand, attached the certified True Copy of the Judgment of the Court of Appeal in Suit No. CA/ABJ/145/2026: Senator David Mark v Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe & Ors and requested the Commission to enforce the judgement of the Court of Appeal, including: Ceasing recognition of Senator David Mark and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as National Chairman and National Secretary respectively of ADC; Removing their names from the Commission’s portal; and Refraining from dealing with or recognising any actions taken by them in respect of the party in line with the preservation orders made by the Court of Appeal. Subsequently, by another letter on the same subject matter dated 27th March, 2026, Summit Law Chambers alleged that the Commission had acted in disobedience of the Court of Appeal’s Orders by: i. Inviting Senator David Mark’s group to a political parties’ meeting held on Tuesday, 24th March, 2026; and ii. Monitoring a purported National Executive Committee meeting of that group. The solicitors (Summit Law Chambers) further drew the attention of the Commission to the Motion Ex-Parte and Motion on Notice filed by their client on 15th December, 2025, seeking to prevent the 1st Defendant (ADC) from holding any convention, congress, conference, or meeting and to stop INEC from attending, monitoring, observing or recognising any activities of the ADC. They accordingly requested INEC to invalidate the NEC meeting held by Senator David Mark's group on 25th March, 2026, remove the name of Senator David Mark's group from the INEC portal, stop recognising or acknowledging correspondence from them until the determination of the pending suit before the Federal High Court, Abuja and allow Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe to take over the affairs of ADC pending the determination of the case, and that INEC should respect the orders of the Court of Appeal in Appeal No. CA/ABJ/145/2026. ORDERS OF THE COURT OF APPEAL In its judgement delivered on 12th March, 2026, the Court of Appeal dismissed the interlocutory appeal by Senator David Mark and made amongst others, the following Orders: “Finally, it is necessary to make preservatory orders to ensure that the subject matter of the dispute pending before the trial court is not prejudiced as Courts have inherent powers to control and regulate proceedings to ensure justice...
