9 hours later an ambulance arrives for my 87 year old dad , broke his wrist & fractured his arm in 4 places , 19.5 hours in a sit to rest room & they wanted to put an IV in b4 even examining him , no one spoke English , the NHS id screwed 🤬

@Samanth43010302 Fell down broke wrist , didn’t heal correctly. Operated on with nerve blocks( so awake) plate fitted. Home again same day amazing.

What I don’t get is if all these different supermarkets can sell Leg of Lamb, Beef, Pork & Gammon for 1/2 price at Easter & Xmas then why can’t they sell at this price all year round because they are obviously not selling at a loss or they wouldn’t be doing it.

@Jenny_1884 You really don’t understand retail do you. Paying the higher price most of the year , enables supermarkets to sell meat cheaper , thus getting more people to shop in their busiest periods.
