@Naded The Halo 2 series with just pure audio Saturday morning before the casters started was amazing. The shit talk and gamesmanship between teams was treat. It all used to be on the old MLG Gameroom site but when they got rid of it a piece of me died.

Does Major League Gaming still have any of the raw Halo gameplay footage saved from tournaments? Is there a warehouse somewhere with a ton of old CDs or drives filled with the gameplays? I call upon any former MLG staff member, Microsoft, or anyone else that could possibly have access to the old tournament gameplay footage and start actively pursuing reuploading these gameplays back online if possible. It's an important part of esports history that didn't get preserved properly. There should be a place where gamers can go to watch the individual POVs that were all posted online at some point from many different matches. Unfortunately, the amount of lost media from the MLG era is very sad, including the media lost from MLG's very own video uploading site. I really hope someone can help or something can happen and those gameplays can be resurfaced; it's an important part of Halo esports history. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

JUST IN: 🇨🇦 A Calgary woman is recovering after being ‘lured’ to a northwest Calgary home, where a violent encounter left a 48-year-old man dead in what police are calling a “clear-cut case of self-defence. Police say Shahbaz Ahmed lured the woman, in her 30s, to a home in Edgemont on Jan. 9 under the pretense of a property showing. The woman was at the residence with her father, but they became separated inside the large house when Ahmed attacked her without provocation. She managed to fight him off and escape, alerting neighbours who called 911. Ahmed was found in medical distress and pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was treated in hospital for injuries and is in stable condition. Calgary Police homicide acting staff sergeant Scott Guterson said the woman “did everything right” and acted entirely in self-defence. The death has been ruled a non-culpable homicide, and no charges will be laid. Ahmed, known to police, had faced previous criminal charges including assault with a weapon and threats but was acquitted in all cases last year.

Oh my gosh, my inner voice genuinely NEVER STOPS. I so seriously have never had a moment of silence lmao I used to give a high school ex of mine crap because I’d ask what he’s thinking and he’d be like “nothing” and I would be like you’re obviously thinking SOMETHING! because I didn’t realize that other people had times where they actually truly had no inner dialogue going 😂 He was really just sitting there in complete silence staring at the wall with his brain on power saver mode 🤯

When you’re checking out at a store and the cashier is like “oh this is so cute!” as they scan one of your items, what is your response? Because, like….thank you! is my first reaction. But then…it’s not even really my item yet-I’m getting it FROM YOU. So is it now my turn to be like…oh I know, you guys have the best stuff? But then if I say I know, I feel like I’m being cocky like I’m like yeah I know I have the best style. But it feels weird to say thank you. But I can’t just be like …yeah. Usually I just try to bypass it as a compliment and be like “and a good price!” or something. But then I feel rude like they just complimented something of mine and I didn’t say thank you…but then, it’s not really mine yet though? And then I’m like…do I tell them where in the store I got it from? Because surely they know. But if they’re like acting like they haven’t seen the item before and they’re excited about it, then maybe they don’t.? Idk. It stresses me out when a cashier compliments an item I’m purchasing.
