Knicks coach Mike Brown on Monday: “I never thought I would be in the NBA Finals and see a team get 24 free throw attempts in the second half to another team's eight.”
Tonight, New York has a 23-6 free throw advantage in the first half and trails by 27.
Which of the three penalty saves against England did you enjoy the most?
Ricardo (Former Portugal goalkeeper):
“I remember our short meeting before the match, where I reassured Scolari that I would save the first penalty, and that it would be Lampard’s.
I knew that if I held out until the end, I would be able to read Lampard’s shooting style.
I held on until the end and saved it.
It had a huge impact on the England team, they felt frustrated.
Then we missed two penalties, and I saved Gerrard’s penalty.
But Carragher’s penalty made me laugh the most.
I looked at his face and thought to myself: ‘You’re done! You’ve ruined everything!’ [laughs]
That was the one I enjoyed the most.
I knew that if I saved it, we would win, because Cris was coming next and he never misses penalties.”
What joke of a game. Win a game at home Thunder without Tony brothers to give you everything. A joke. SGA is the crappiest superstar ever. @spurs@thunder
