Today we honor and recall the transgender folk lost to violence. Since last year’s Transgender Day of Remembrance, according to the @humanrightscam2, at least 36 trans folk were murdered in the U.S., many of whom were young and people of color. Half were Black trans women.

Transgender Day of Remembrance  (#TDOR) is an annual observance held on 11/20 to honor the memory of trans people who have been murdered. The day serves as both a remembrance of those lost and a call to action to end the violence and discrimination faced by trans individuals.
