Warhorse just fired their localizer and replaced him with AI: Max was laid off yesterday. He handled Czech to English translation. If I were a localizer in games or anime, I would start learning a new skill ASAP.

Warhorse Studios has fired an employee after 3.5 years because his translation job would become obsolete on the team due to AI. Max H described being called into a meeting and fired with no prior warnings. They company cited efforts to improve efficiency and reduce costs by switching to AI for all translations.
