@sqL_handLe I have started typing replies in those now before tabbing out it seems to keep them from vanishing while you tab out and go build a 20 minute reply video and 3 page snark manifesto. err, well when I do, you probably just wanted to reply. :P

Every creative person I know that has embraced AI as a tool for their art has produced more content this month than all of last year. A true creative individual sees AI and feels completely empowered. They feel like the entire world has opened up to them. But a lot of self professed creative people, who have been grifting as creatives for decades, are about to be exposed as frauds who and pretenders who only know how to work within the politics of the current system. They will sit down before the greatest tool for creativity the world has ever known and not have a single idea how to use it or what story to tell. Pay attention to what is happening and who rejects the gift, and who embraces it.

@elonmusk I think being able to see a somehow sensible list or bullet of what stuff we are categorized under for the 'For You' tab with the ability to veto items and remove stuff. Like maybe one day we were in a mood and looked at some internet fight videos but are sick of that stuff, you know. Let us delete things we character wise aren't as compatible with even if our personality roller coaster got us listed one day.

My thoughts on it, R is an incompressable linear index. Each i is essentially an address that equates to it's own value. The only i that can multiplicitivly address every index is 1. If you look at it using a waveform sieve, you can see wave interference producing group periodicity and leaving unaddressed gaps. These gaps are prime, inaddressable values except for one and themselves. As the sample size grows, a 2D grid representing the linear address space will show about the same distribution because of the resolution change as you zoom out.

@fermatslibrary Odd, there should be less and less primes so I would expect more black at one end?

My conjecture is that it traces back to the originating pre-bang extrusion and its basic properties that align with math and logic itself. We have math and logic because they are the mirror of potential and we exist in the structure that resulted from its attempt at self-reconciliation. but without all my woo, ^ good answer.

This was a very good question from Ryan - why does the Universe on the largest scales resemble the Universe on the smallest scales? The answer, for the case of the distribution of galaxies on the sky, is that the pattern we see has its origin in quantum mechanical fluctuations during inflation - before the hot big bang (at least according to inflationary cosmology, which is the most widely accepted model at present). Hail Mary is a very good film by the way :-)

@alphafox What is even more hilarious is that the clock shows 7:44 not 8:44. Not sure if I'd trust chatgpt with anything more critical than spell-check.

@alphafox Why? Just because they didn’t grow up with the same technology as we did? You didn’t grow up with outdated tech either. You’d have to google how to use an abacus if u encountered one. Doesn’t make you ‘cooked’. This kid is prolly better at using digital things than his parents.

I ask GPT sometimes to check my writing and I will hear it out, but I often tell it, "Screw that, I'm the one posting it I like that turn of phrase I'm not changing it." I also have terrible punctuation half the time and am oft guilty of run on sentences. I still get called a bot. lol

It looks to me like the people that are the angriest about AI are of two kinds. Those that have achieved high levels of notoriety for their skills, as they may be, for great effort and popular creations and suddenly they are all but duplicatable at the push of a button, and children jumping on the band wagon.

@thinkingshivers They should just pump fluid up a mountain during the day with renewable energy. Flood a locked valley with desalinated ocean water in the sierras and drain it through a hydro damn into Nevada.

China may be beating us in batteries, but the United States has TWICE as many rocks as China does. Why not simply use those to store gravitational potential energy by hoisting them high up?
