TIL that if you sing in the rain for 75 mins your music folder will end up resembling an ancient palimpsest! Huge thanks to the heroic singers who braved the non-stop downpour & brought seasonal splendour to the crowds at Trafalgar Square, making lots of money for good causes!

.@PubPolyphony, when happening in a pub, has a handful of spaces for non-singers which is appreciated. It's rather jolly being in an upstairs room in a pub with lots of people who *can* sing and sight-read as they're singing this youtube.com/watch?v=ZfHyPw…

They need people who can read music and sing motets, chorales etc. Alas that isn't me (I can see that notes go up and down but that's about it), anyway the music is lovely. Would take me too long to learn and I'd oscillate around the staves rather than keep to my bit :)

2/3 @ChoirwithNoName does amazing work helping homeless & other marginalised people through the joy of singing. We've collected 100s of £s for them over the years & wanted to do so again this year but like so many others our plans have been thwarted by this ongoing crisis.
