Some people didn’t back the Cursed Continent issue 1 for fear we may never make it to issue 2. I guess they’ve been burned by some opportunistic “creators” who never even delivered their first issue? Well, issue 1 happened and delivered on time. This is issue 2! Art by @jkatzstudio P.S. Finally, a comic book cover that actually depicts events inside the comic!

"I'll serve under him. A short life and a merry one, say I - and with Conan the Throat-Slitter in command, life is likely to be both merry and short." The Black Colossus was today's entry in my reread of Howard's Conan. Post Tower of the Elephant, it's interesting to see Conan return to a battlefield role which was present in the first two stories and it features the first woman who gets Conan into trouble (Princess Yasmela) plus a striking visual in Natohk's Black Colossus. That being said, I think I prefer the smaller scale stories where Conan is more of a solo operator? Not sure yet. If there's any fault I can find, I feel like there's a lot of sorcerers in the past few stories so Natohk doesn't necessarily stand out as much compared to Thoth-Amon. But that's mostly a nitpick. Still a solid tale. 4/5 Veiled Ones. Next up is my favorite story, The Slithering Shadow! Hope it holds up!

March 19 is the birthday of the late artist Samson Pollen (1931–2018). Here’s a look at one of his paperback covers. Podcaster Nick Anderson recently did an interview with the model Sam used for it, Chad Deal. On YouTube at this link-> youtu.be/YPamhLfqyE4?si…

At first I thought Jerome and George Rozen were two different guys. Then I realized his name was Jerome George Rozen. Then I realized he had a twin brother named George Jerome Rozen WHO WAS ALSO A COVER PAINTER and at that point I gave up and tagged everything Jerome/George Rozen
