Remington crossed the rainbow bridge last night 🌈💔
After the Insulinoma, he developed Heart disease, had high blood pressure and had fluid around his body.
He was on 5 meds 2x daily until his little body couldn't handle it anymore 😢

Friendly reminder that ferrets are not beginner level pets and they are prone to a world of issues. ESPECIALLY North American ferrets due to the horrendous breeding practices by Marshall Farms, the main breeder in NA. My boy Remington here is 6 years old and was just diagnosed with Insulinoma and he will now be on meds twice daily for the rest of his life. During his first vet visit after being rehomed at 2 years old, he was also diagnosed with adrenal disease which he receives a yearly implant for, a large spleen at risk of rupturing and since then he's also had frequent mast cell tumors. Please know that some of these issues are extremely common for ferrets and if you are considering them as pets, you will need to be ready for this. 🧡

@flyc0de @WATCHHOLLIE I haven't used restream in years, but it's free to do it this way. I use the streamkey generator for OBS and then the Streamelements plugin for TikTok chat and activity feed.
