@SANEAustralia I 100% agrees, the reproachful coverage of celebrity sufferers must stop. Tabloids have turned diagnosing celebrities with eating disorders into a game, grossly oversimplying and vilifying their symptoms such as a "boney back".

Eating disorders are complex mental illnesses with serious physical consequences. The way they're depicted in the media matters. Journalists should discuss behaviours in general terms (e.g. purging) without reference to the steps taken. See something triggering? Tell #StigmaWatch
