It is especially disappointing as it was directed towards someone that Mayor Fadness called a friend when he supposedly cared about racial equity work. This is a textbook definition of performative allyship and sadly not surprising.

@ScottFadness It’s abundantly clear you bought this election. The smear campaign many Republican candidates ran was shameful. With razor thin margins this was no mandate for your Administration. You’d do well to remember that. Many lifelong Republicans, myself included, are done with the GOP.

@hlstevenson2 RECN has seen the good work you have done w/ the mayor @ police over many years where THEY seemed to have sought YOU out for wisdom. It would be a shame if the 2 of them didn’t speak up against these slanderous attacks on you who they referred to as a friend at their convenience
