Today, trust seems harder to find than ever before.
What does it even mean: to trust?
Our politics is polarized, social media is awash with misinformation, and no longer we put our faith in the institutions.
A sharp quote I (really) like is that by Edward O Wilson:
“The real problem of humanity is the following: we have Paleolithic emotions, medieval institutions, and god-like technology."
So, In AI We Trust?
Steven and I were making the case at TS26 that in a world of autonomous AI agents, trust is no longer optional. It's in our best interest to engineer the need for blind trust out of the equation: for humans, and for AI agents.
Yellow is a system so robust and cryptographically secure that trust becomes a luxury, not a primary requirement.

Here are four scenarios where Yellow excels: (i) High-frequency trading: Agents negotiate, match orders, and exchange P&L off-chain. (ii) Bidirectional micropayments: Agents stream payments both ways (e.g., collaborative AI tasks). (iii) Private strategy execution: Agents share proprietary signals privately, protected from front-running. (iv) Conditional logic: Agents negotiate contract terms, update conditional payouts, run bidding rounds, or execute multi-step workflows. Jamie Dimon says JPMorgan must move faster as tokenization reshapes finance.
"A whole new set of competitors is emerging based on blockchain," he wrote in his annual letter to shareholders.
This comes after JPMorgan launched MONY, its first tokenized money market fund, directly on public Ethereum in December.
Tokenized funds on Ethereum have gone from near-zero to ~$22B in market cap.
The world's largest bank is live on Ethereum, and its CEO is publicly saying they're still not moving fast enough.
