Assume you have a research agent, and you want it to pull gated data to scan for arbitrage opportunities. Right now, this agent has to stop and wait for a human to authorize access. The gap is growing between what AI agents can do and what they are allowed to do end-to-end because payments are lagging. Yellow Network uses state channels to enable fast, low-cost micropayments, creating economies that empower agentic payments. @modernfintech shows how fast and simple the Yellow Network is, which opens the way for agents to engage in pay-per-article, API usage billing, subscription services, hourly billing, real-time payroll, and other types of microtransactions.

The grassroots demand for digital assets in Africa is exploding! There's a reason. Africa is not as saturated and regulated as European or US markets. Unlike the West, where startups must fight legacy banks for market share, a massive portion of Africa is historically unbanked. Financial flows are essentially free for the taking for companies that can provide accessible, mobile-first infrastructure. @Yellow SDK provides a big opportunity for local builders to create such infrastructure and run their businesses from the couch, as @AlexisYellow would say. As far as I know, the most popular assets are USDT, Bitcoin, and TRX, with Nigeria being ahead of the curve. What is happening with digital assets in Africa?

AI is on fire! > Thousands of happy @openclaw users > Acquisition of @moltbook by @Meta > @AnthropicAI's Claude doubles usage promotion Agents are absolutely taking over, and they need impeccable infrastructure they can trust. as @fatkhuloff hypothesized, crypto might never have been meant to be used by humans, and was instead intended as the infra layer for AI. This would explain the awful user experience we've been battling for over a decade, as well as the mercenary capital phenonmenon. Now agents are coming, and they are looking for durable rails to transact with each other. Assuming agents will prioritize liquidity, safety, speed, and low transaction fees, among other properties, @Yellow fits well.

Very soon there are going to be more AI agents than humans making transactions. They can’t open a bank account, but they can own a crypto wallet. Think about it.

Soon, we will be chatting with the AI in-app, and it will code and deploy new features for us on the fly. Personalized apps, intent-based interfaces, and AI agents integrated into our lives will create multi-trillion agentic economy that requires durable infrastructure for microtransactions. Meta’s recent acquisition of Moltbook validates this shift, moving the Overton window from a somewhat abstract, distant theory to a near-term reality.

As we all are trying to understand how to live through the AI revolution, I ask myself one question: What happens when most of the participants in the economy are not humans?

@dansemperepico Yup. I was amazed at a Chery sedan in one of my trips with Bolt. They are selling for about $20K, with the perceived quality and size of an Audi A6. A friend of mine over there bought a Jetour SUV and damn, it's really cool for the price. Same with GWM Tank 5. Incredible.

UAE roads are full of Chinese cars. Let me tell you, Chinese automakers are going to dominate western markets over the next decade. The only thing they don't have going for them yet, is strong brands.

@CoachDanGo Or is this referring to 500-700 under maintenance? With exercise accounted for, it’s far less?

@dirtyculture Such fluid personalization just makes the underlying app even more useful and valuable. But profits will shift to app developers who expand personalization at the expense of those who don't adopt more AI.

@modernfintech what happens when everyone can build personalized apps though? Where does the moat come from if the AI can just rebuild your exact feature set for someone else in seconds?

Is pure software becoming uninvestable because of AI? I don't think so. The long-term trend seems to be that software is only becoming more important over time. AI makes the quality of things go up a lot faster, which means more people can create more apps that are actually worth buying. I’ve been building an app myself on my website to track fitness stuff. I made an AI coach that you can talk to: it helps plan my meals based on what's in my fridge and schedules my workouts. I didn't explicitly program it to say all these things. It updates the plan in real-time based on our conversation, which is super convenient. I imagine that sometime very soon, we will just be chatting with the AI in the app, and it will actually code new features and add them to the app for us, on the fly. The future of software is dynamic and highly customized.

I recently had a moment that completely changed my perspective on being a public person. There’s this economic forum in Andorra, where a guy came up to me and said, "Hey, I recognize you, you’re Steven Zeiler." I was trying to be low-key, like, how do you know who I am? this is weird. It was @AlexisYellow. He told me he recognized me from YouTube videos I made 13 years ago about Ripple and XRP. He said those videos taught him so much that they actually inspired him to get into the blockchain world, and here we are part of the Yellow team. You never know who you’re going to impact with video. If my content from a decade ago could change a life like that, imagine what you can do.

The best time to eat your final meal is 5pm. Early enough to support better quality sleep. You also get easy access to restaurants because no one else eats dinner that early.
