I hope I don't need to tell you that leaks about Trump wanting to end the war are an obvious fake and engineered nonevent.
I also hope I don't need to remind you there is no Trump, just whatever Israel tells the placeholder called Trump to do and say.
Israel devised this idea of fake burst of rational thinking to address the placeholder's declining popularity, and Israel's acute strategic distress.
Israel thinks that pretending to want peace and offering something to Iran will be enough of a distraction, or a bait, for Americans to swallow whatever comes after this fails.
There is no Trump. There is only Israel. And have no doubt that they initiated this ceasefire thing, because they are fucked and have to get the US to commit much harder to this war. This is the way they decided to go about it.
After the coming slaughter of American personnel, a wider war will be a bipartisan demand.
