William Shatner is 95 today! How could I not post something from Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan (1982)? The Enterprise crew came roaring back and delivered one of the all-time great sequels, basically a submarine thriller in space. Shatner is brilliant here.

@dilanesper @alwaysadblock No, I'll stand by that. My worst experiences of the Max on borderline-long haul *were* horrible. As to the older 737's, yes, they are the same, but seat design is not. It creates more winner v loser scenarios for the armrest. That *does* impact comfort on a long flight.

This is not true at all. They do give you the option now of being a complete cheapo and paying for a terrible experience.
But nobody forces you to not pay some more and get better service.

Every time I fly I feel like the airline industry could use a major shakeup. Like, where is the Steve Jobs or Elon Musk of aviation? It’s probably the one industry where the average user experience has gotten significantly worse over the last few decades.

@dilanesper @alwaysadblock The A320 is a bit wider than the 737 MAX, and on United that usually means slightly more shoulder room. They are small margins, but they matter. You might argue with the characterization, but my experiences are that you do feel it on a full flight, especially for 4 -5 hours.
