SWEDEN JUST DREW THE LINE Sweden is doing it. Finally. Parliament has just passed a law that lets the state revoke residence permits for bad behavior. And here is the part that matters - the behavior does not have to be criminal. Undeclared work. Unpaid debts. Tax evasion. Benefit fraud. Links to extremist organizations. That is enough. The law does not only cover new applications. It covers permits already granted. Retroactively. The principle is simple, and it should never have been controversial: a residence permit is a privilege, not a right. Anyone who lives off a society’s hospitality while working against that society’s laws and values has NO automatic claim to stay. Sweden has paid a high price to learn this. Now they are acting. Everybody that has a passport from a country within the European Union has the right to freely move around the countries we all love, Italy, Spain, France, Greece, etc. There’s no border control, you can even move to another country without much effort, and this has been beautiful. Until now. Recently Spain decided that they would give legal residence to 500.000 illegal migrants living in the country. Now these people are going to have the full rights of a European residence, including freedom of movement. Today we found out this number was a lie. There have already been 900.000 applications and it is expected to become 5 million within a few years. Thanks to Spain in the next years all the countries in the European union will have a mass migration that they never consented to. At this point, what does it even matter if Italy votes for patriotic government whose intent is to control their borders, when Spain will just send an infinite number of migrants to the continent? What is the end game for the European Union?

Palestinians want a right of return to pre-1948 homes. Surely they want it to be fair and equitable, right? Well then, let's discuss the uncomfortable truth about equality that they never seem to want to discuss. The 850,000 Jews who were expelled or fled from Arab countries after 1948 should also be granted that identical right. That means full restitution of their homes, synagogues, businesses, and the $100 billion+ in seized assets across Iraq, Egypt, Yemen, Libya, Syria, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, and elsewhere. They should be free to return, reclaim their properties, receive guarantees of security, and have the option to rent them out if they prefer to stay in Israel. Sounds perfectly fair, doesn't it?
