We do actually go through this on the latest United Inc. but some additional thoughts and what this could mean (or not) for #MUFC BCCI rules prohibit leveraged buyouts (smart folk) meaning any glazer bid will need to be equity funded. High level that leaves a few likely options: 1. Glazers are heading up some form of consortium through Lancer capital. Means they don’t need stump up all the cash but can be the figurehead. 2. They are self-funding a bid through: A. Their own cash they already have B. Money through a stake sale of tampa bay buccaneers. They turned down a $6bn+ bid for the franchise in Aug 2024 and NFL franchise valuations are rising. C. Money through a stake sale in #MUFC 1 and 2B are most likely in my view. Hope it’s 2C.

@BugieKay @UnitedStandMUFC He should be in an Evans type role if he signs a new deal. Reliable backup / rotation option that adds a lot to the dressing room in terms of experience and knowledge of the club.

Renewing Maguire's contract is not a problem. It's only an issue if they're still seeing him as a part of the long-term plan. His contract renewal should be on reduced wages because he's gonna be a squad player. The likes of Yoro and Heaven should be above him in the pecking order, not to mention De ligt and Martinez.
