If Mateus follows the money it goes against every impression I’ve ever had of a mature, wise beyond his years and down to earth player. Not buying the ‘Game time’ excuse. There’s plenty of game time to be had at Manchester United. And if this is agent led because of £££, he needs to have some balls and fight for his dream move. So for now I am keeping a little bit of faith in the brilliant impression I’ve had of him and hoping we get this deal over the line!

Tchouameni is a proper Casemiro replacement, Physically dominant, has the stamina and can play as a lone 6 or in a double pivot with Kobbie Mainoo. Unlike Ugarte, Tchouameni is press resistant and won’t loose the ball silly after winning it. With Tchouameni, our football won’t be a basketball match of end to end game.
