@prochoicewoman7 @LilaGraceRose It's not a good argument and you did use AI. Some groups do things disproportionately and some of those things are bad from a macro point of view. Wait I should be typing this into chatGPT or Claude and cut out the idiocy of the cut and paste middleman.

@ReducedToaNum @LilaGraceRose A good argument doesn't mean it was AI generated. It is generalizing when you're painting one group with a broad brush.

Heartbreaking. 13-month-old baby boy Preston Davey was placed for adoption with a same-sex couple in Grimsargh. Within months, he was allegedly raped and killed. Jamie Varley (36) faces murder, multiple sexual assaults on the child, cruelty, and extreme porn charges. His partner John McGowan-Fazakerley (31) also charged. Both plead not guilty.  The trial starts this month in Preston Crown Court. How did social services think this was a safe home for a vulnerable baby? Children's needs must always come before adult desires.  Every child deserves a mother and father. Praying for justice for little Preston.

@prochoicewoman7 @LilaGraceRose You used AI to form your rebuttle and it's not generalizing if each group has an unacceptable base line rate for malace. Slow down thinking is dangerous for you.

@ReducedToaNum @LilaGraceRose You’re comparing an identity to a stereotype about animal behavior—that’s not a valid analogy, and it still doesn’t justify generalizing an entire group.

@LilaGraceRose You are aware that heterosexual couples are just as capable of abusing their kids....right? Or do you only give a shit when its LGBTQIA + couples so you have an excuse to spread fear to further your agenda?

My high school dropout boomer parents got married at 18 and 17 and lived in a cold water (no hot water) flat in the core city of St. Louis. They had three kids and rented apartments for 17 years before they bought their first modest home. They both worked multiple jobs and drove beater cars or took the city bus. AND they were thankful because they didn't have to do all of that during the depression which was worse. This was the common experience of most of our neighbors as well. That's why they were called working class. You are so spoiled and pampered you have no idea. Sit down and shut up You can complain and blame others or you can work your rear off for decades with no vacation.
Jess@jessgill03

It’s insane how little compassion so many boomers have for young people.

The key to winning is having a model you trust and pair it with a +EV product. Using market edges and verifying it with a model based projection will give you long term profitability. When both align = 🔨

@Mattykore @Jenny_1884 @HermeticHaven I don't advocate with that. However I don't see the entitlement. Entitlement to opportunity? Entitlement to a similar ability to have a family whilst standing on your own two feet?

When I married in 1981 we both worked & most of our salary went on paying the mortgage as the interest rate was 15% at the time. Everything we owned was 2nd hand & we never went out for meals as we couldn’t afford to. We rented our TV Went to the launderette every weekend as had no washing machine. Only had new clothes at Xmas & birthdays as presents. We went without until we could save enough to pay for something. It’s always been hard whether you are young or old. So those out there that think we had it easy we didn’t. Our governments are to blame, not the old.

@Mattykore @Jenny_1884 @HermeticHaven No they're just annoyed at the situation. My parents made 1/3 combined what I do alone adjusted for inflation. My childhood rancher home is just under 4m now. In my city houses were 3x avg salary when my parents bought it's now 18x. It's not the same.

2 years ago (March 2024) I quit my full-time job in Aerospace to pursue poker full-time. I had saved up something like $30-50K from the past few years of work & poker (as a side income) and decided i was gonna give it my shot. I started grinding my ass off at $5/5 and was putting up consistently 200+/hr volume months without fail. If i wasn’t playing, i was in the lab. If i wasn’t in the lab i was replaying a hand from yesterdays session in my head. It consumed me. Every second of every day. It wasn’t easy but I loved every second of it. I genuinely don’t believe anyone worked harder than me for that first year of professional poker. 2 years later I simply don’t have the same drive and hustle as I once did. I still love the game. I still want to keep climbing the mountain. But nothing makes you work harder than when your backs against the wall and theres nowhere to run. I look back on that year as the year that changed everything for me. If you are in that position, its a blessing in disguise. Make it count.

Stop betting on the NBA. All sports are fixed to a certain degree, but NBA is the front runner. I didn’t know specifically that Terry Rozier was cheating when he was but I was told Miami Heat players were all betting through bookies. Really have to question yourself if you continue betting it. #Gambling𝕏

Nowadays, standing up against the woke mob is true bravery. Jaden Ivey understood the potential consequences and stood up anyway. This wasn’t making inflammatory comments against a sitting President the woke mob already hated. This wasn’t taking a knee against an incorrect fight against “police brutality.” This wasn’t bashing America because “muh slavery.” It was standing up for his Christian beliefs. I sincerely hope the Bulls suffer worse than Bud Light for releasing him.

@twunkez Always taking creation and never spending wiser. Shit is tired. Not only is there a difference between wealth and income but each tax is a ladder. 3% becomes 3.25%, becomes 3.6%, they do that to you now.

@Lord_of_Candy @BenHorney I think it's probably easier to market to chartist types (I strongly detest charting as I think it's nonsense but hope I'm wrong for my friends' sake). Theyll happily spend on add-ons or "education" and results are much noisier in markets like that so separating signal is hard.

@ReducedToaNum @BenHorney That is always such a bother. As someone who invests in damn near all markets its all the same at the end of the day. Yes somewhere under all the fat--normal markets have a core of valuation but these days? Once you lose touch with that core when is it all not a form of gambling.

Gambling Is Not Investing, the group led by Mick Mulvaney, surveyed more than 15,000 people (most say they aren't regular sports bettors or traders). - 81% consider sports event contracts to be gambling. - 37% are 'not sure' if the CFTC is "well equipped" to regulate PMs.

Not mad at all, but serious question. If calling out people publicly and having beef was an effective brand strategy, why doesn't Hormozi do it? I've had 3 chargebacks in 4 years. But I certainly know bad actors in the space. If you are on x to actually make money, you would know the answer. You have a semi anon brand and nothing to lose.

The problem with "street smart" people, no matter how much money they make, is they operate with a zero sum mentality, and will absolutely screw you over for a tiny amount of money Had a professional MMA fighter "order" me gloves for $300. Knew I was getting scammed and the gloves were probably $50, didn't care, knew he needed the money. He ghosted me after I cash apped him. Would have kept training with him forever. Big cold email guy in the space. Did a charge back. Had a mutual friend call him. He did it "just because he could" Will not call him out. Will not air the dirty laundry. Just move on and don't work with them again. You don't want to be in the bucket with those crabs. @EdLatimore and @Alexfeinberg really taught me this.

@Lord_of_Candy @BenHorney 1% are winning, 0.1% are really winning so they just round down 0% with a cautionary "don't gamble, invest" followed by some sort of advice or service that loses to the index not counting fees.
