Hardworking families were already dealing with higher prices across the board. Now, gas prices are skyrocketing in Massachusetts and across the country because of Trump's reckless, unauthorized war with Iran.

Look at the price of the gas you put in your car. Look at the price of the food you put on your table. Look at the cost of your health care premiums. Making your cost of living affordable is the least of this administration’s concerns.

What a season it’s been for our student-athletes across MA-01. @BrownieSports, @HVHSHurricanes, Minnechaug Regional High School, @PFcardinals, South Hadley High School, and @wshsterriers all brought home state championships in team and individual events. From the court to the track, the rink to the mat, these athletes represented their communities with pride, discipline, and determination. Congratulations to the players, coaches, families, and supporters who stood behind our students every step of the way.

From Hungry Hill in Springfield to the neighborhoods of Holyoke, Chicopee, Pittsfield, and beyond, Irish Americans have helped shape the character of western and central Massachusetts for generations. I am horrified by the antisemitic attack that took place in West Bloomfield, Michigan. My heart goes out to the Temple Israel community and Jewish communities around the world that are reeling from yet another act of senseless violence. Antisemitism has no place in America, and no one should ever have to fear for their safety because of their faith. We must confront antisemitism and stand firmly with our Jewish neighbors.

Last night, I voted no on the DHS funding bill because ICE and CBP are in need of serious reforms. Instead, I cosponsored a bill that would fully fund critical components of DHS, including FEMA, TSA, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the disaster relief fund, giving Congress the chance to debate much needed reforms to ICE and CBP. But Republican leadership refused to consider this bill because they aren't serious about defending the rule of law or protecting your civil liberties.
