Hey @Replit I love you product, I was able to build something cool with it within 30mins of knowing about it, the possibilities it has given to non-developers is really top notch 💯💯.
But here’s my small concern as a first time user:
After paying for the monthly subscription(core plan) I didn’t understand how the credit system works, I thought the subscription gives room to unlimited credit for that month.
So after building an application which was very easy I most commend, I went on to check my account usage and I found out there’s also a credit system and I’ve almost exhausted mine.
Then I went on to check the pricing for credit and I saw the credit package starting from 100$, I would love to know if there’s a way I can buy credit with any desired amount and get it’s equivalent.
Because personally I would love to be comfortable first using replit before buying credit above with 100$ or above.
And I would be really happy if I’m gifted a any amount of credit so I can fully explore and understand your product
Thanks @Replit keep on building

Hi there! We recommend the following options under Agent Modes to make the most out of your credits:
-Economy Mode: Uses roughly 1/3 the credits per task. Switch via the Agent tools dropdown (bottom right of input box).
-Lite Mode: Best for quick, targeted changes (text edits, bug fixes, styling). Very low cost per task.
-Plan mode: Brainstorm your approach first so Agent doesn't waste credits going down the wrong path.
Hope this helps!

@MeGaMamalon @Replit We'll check in with our Appeals team to see if we have any updates here. Thanks for following up with your ticket #s!

@CleaneraMade @Replit We don't have a timeline on when this will rollout at this time, apologies for the inconvenience there. We ship so fast that we should consider project conversion workflows for these new updates. We really appreciate your feedback so far 🙏

When will old artifacts work with Agent 4. Been working on this app for 8 months, so redoing is not an option for someone focused one project instead of many! Seems like an update that should prioritize current builds. Why do I need to keep restarting with evey Relit update. It was the same issue woth Expo mobile apps.

@MadelynRSchmidt @Replit Hey Madelyn, our DMs are open if you want to share your ticket # or email! Thanks again for your patience 🙏

Hi Utkarsh, thanks for your interest! You describe what you want to Agent, and it generates the design visually on the canvas. From there you can select frames and tweak things directly, or use the Visual Editor to adjust colors, text, and spacing without using AI credits. When you're happy with it, just tell Agent to convert it into a web app and it handles the backend, database, and infrastructure from there.
You can also drop a screenshot of an existing site onto the Canvas and ask Agent to recreate it, or pull your current app page onto the Canvas to experiment without affecting the live version. The design and the resulting app stay independent so you can keep iterating safely.
Hope this helps!
English

@Replit I haven't tried it. Curious how easy it is to convert designs into apps. Any real-life examples of that?
English

Hi there! Costs can add up when it takes a few attempts to get things working.
You can try Economy Mode, which uses roughly 1/3 the credits per task compared to Power mode (found in the Agent tools dropdown). For small tweaks, Lite Mode costs way less than full Autonomous mode. You can also set a spending cap at replit.com/usage (minimum $10) and use Plan mode first to outline your approach before Agent starts building.
Hope this helps!
English

Hi there! You can't directly convert a web app artifact into a mobile app artifact since they use different underlying technologies (HTML/CSS/JS vs React Native). Instead, you add a new mobile app artifact to the same project.
Ask Agent something like "Add a mobile app version of this web app" or "Turn this into a mobile app". The mobile artifact will automatically share the same backend and data as your web app.
The frontend will be rebuilt for mobile, so you may need to follow up with Agent to fill in any features that didn't carry over perfectly.
This only works in Agent 4 projects, you cannot add new artifacts to pre-Agent 4 projects. If your web app is in an older project, you'd need to create a new project.
Hope this helps!
English

@Replit How do you turn a Web-App artifact into a Mobile App artifact?

@thisismasdouk @Replit Hi there, Masdouk! We don't have a timeline at this time. We appreciate your continued patience while we're working to make Replit better 🌞

Hi there. We appreciate your feedback on prompt enhancement! For new projects, you can toggle on Plan mode to brainstorm with Agent about your approach, libraries, and trade-offs before it starts building. This helps you refine what you want without burning tokens on code changes before you kick off your project.
English

If you're running into issues with your account, you're more than welcome to open a help ticket with us at replit.com/support so we can best guide you!
Another step you can try is to paste the relevant doc links directly into your Replit Agent chat or attach them as context. Agent can reference documentation you provide to better understand what you're working toward. You can also describe your goal in plain language alongside the doc content, and Agent will use that to guide its approach.
We're always working to improve how Agent interacts with context, so we appreciate you flagging this!
English

@ReplitSupport @Replit Your LLM needs to learn these docs and have a better sense of what I am seeing on the screen as I’m trying to accomplish something
English

@Eigenstatic @Replit You're welcome! So you won't be able to retrieve past Agent prompt messages since the context isn't saved per chat session. Put your Agent in Plan mode and ask if if it can construct your replit.md file so that it can help you in this endeavor going forward.
English

@ReplitSupport @Replit Thanks for that - is it possible to actually export a json or otherwise of the conversations in full (including my messages)? My work involves the full interaction history with agents over many months in different contexts (not just decisions made but also how we got there)

@ReplitSupport @Replit Wow! Yes. This is it. What clever humans
Can you please link me to a video that demonstrates how this works and how to get to it? I’d like to use it.
English

@Replit @ReplitSupport , can you allow the user to move things around on the websites we create so that the AI doesn't have to and reduce token usage?
I feel like that's a very difficult thing to figure out or it would have already been done, but that would have helped tonight. 🙂
